In the 1990s he was the keyboardist and synth programmer in the band Nine Inch Nails, and has produced, programmed, and remixed for dozens of artists ranging from David Bowie to Rob Zombie.
His experience with producing music using synthesizers started in 1981 on an Arp 2500 system, and continues to this day.
