Guest Speaker - Roger Linn

The Sound Synthesis Club proudly presents a rare and historic conversation with pioneering instrument designer Roger Linn, the visionary behind the LinnDrum and the LinnStrument. This lost footage, featuring Roger as a guest speaker at the SSC, showcases his early insights into the first version of the LinnStrument, a groundbreaking expressive MIDI controller that redefined electronic music performance.

For years, this recording was thought to be lost due to the limitations of the original recording equipment. Now, thanks to AI restoration and advanced video production techniques, we have been able to rescue and reconstruct this invaluable discussion, preserving Roger’s words and ideas with minimal loss of material.

Join us as we rewind music history and revisit this exclusive SSC event—a testament to Roger Linn’s innovation and legacy in the world of sound synthesis.
