Don Slepian

Music Technologist & Synthesizer Soloist

Born into a scientific family, Don Slepian demonstrated musical and technical talent from an early age. He served as a tester for the early internet while working with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Slepian was the Synthesizer Soloist with the Honolulu Symphony and the Musical Director of the Honolulu Theater For Youth. His notable performances include presentations by WNYC’s “New Sounds” at Lincoln Center and a showcase at the Pompidou Center in Paris. Now residing in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, he continues to write and build instruments, blending his dual passions for music and technology.
