Harald Grosskopf

Electronic Drummer & Berlin School Pioneer

Harald Grosskopf began his music career in the 1960s as a drummer for the beat group The Stuntmen and briefly played with a then-unknown Scorpions. He gained wider recognition for his work with bands such as Wallenstein and Ashra, as well as for his collaborations with electronic music pioneer Klaus Schulze, contributing drums to many of Schulze’s solo albums. Grosskopf is a key figure in the development of electronic and progressive music.
