John Bowen

John Bowen began his career as the first official Moog clinician in 1973, where he demonstrated and contributed to the design of Moog Music products. In 1976, he partnered with Dave Smith to promote the Model 800 sequencer and helped specify the Model 700 Programmer. This collaboration led to the development of the iconic Prophet 5 synthesizer and subsequently contributed to the entire line of Sequential Circuits products. Bowen's design expertise is further exemplified by the Solaris synthesizer, a powerful instrument that showcases his innovative approach to sound synthesis.
