Marcus Ryle

Marcus Ryle is an influential synthesizer designer and music technology executive, renowned for his significant contributions to Oberheim Electronics, where he worked on innovative synthesizers that shaped the sound of modern music. He also co-founded Fast Forward Designs in 1985, a company that developed groundbreaking products for Alesis, Digidesign, and others before evolving into Line 6 in 1996. His extensive experience in technology and product development has led to the co-invention of 17 US patents. In addition to his technological contributions, he has played keyboards and created sounds for motion picture and television soundtracks, as well as for renowned artists like Barbra Streisand, Olivia Newton-John, Chicago, Chaka Khan, and Lee Ritenour.
